Yuji Homma joined the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (currently the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) in 1989 where he served in a various positions including telecommunication business administration, broadcasting service administration. Radio frequency allocation, standardization policy etc.
He moved to National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC) in 2014 and currently serves as the counsellor for Critical Infrastructure Protection. He has responsibilities concerning the Basic Policy of Critical Information Infrastructure Protection, maintenance and promotion of the safety principles and enhancement of information sharing system in Japan.
