Rabiah Ahmad received BSc Computer Science (UTM), MSc Information Security (Royal Holloway University of London), PhD Information Studies 2004 (University of Sheffield). She was promoted to be Professor in Information Security since 2015 from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). Her administration position at the University was Deputy Director for Research Management Center UTeM from 2013-2017 and in 2018 she became the Director of Center for Strategic, Quality & Risks Management. Rabiah actively involved in teaching information security and related area at several universities; UTeM, UTM, and The International Technology Institute. Her involvement in promoting Cyber Security in industry can be seen through her appointment as Board Member for Global Accreditation of Cyber Security Education. She is the Head of Examination Committee for Global Ace scheme. Her research interests include Information Security Management, Security Architecture, Healthcare system security, Cyber Physical System Security and Insider Threats. Rabiah was a project leader for researches related to cyber and information security which cost more than RM2 Million. Throughout her career, she has published various articles in the area of information security and cyber physical system at the national and international journal, conferences and public media. Her latest publications are titled Cyber Terrorism: Policy&Technical Perspective and Multimedia Forensics. Her publications received more than 1500 citations reported by Google Scholar.
